Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Sous Chef, the Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitized dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while supporting overall kitchen cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Warewashing

• Operate commercial dish machines.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and serving equipment.
• Organize and store cleaned items properly.

Kitchen Support

• Remove trash and recycling.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and closing duties.
• Support food service operations as needed.

Sanitation

• Maintain dish room cleanliness.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and fast-paced kitchen environments.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement contributions, professional development opportunities, and tuition remission benefits.
• Salary range: $20/hr–$24/hr annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
